My Quest 12

Hey Fam,

I just wanted to let you in on a commitment that I've made. I usualy keep this stuff to myself but this time I want people to know and hold me accountable. The place where I work out has put together a "biggest loser" type challenge that started yesterday, it is called Quest 12. Twelve weeks to a new you. We were assigned to groups and each group as a trainer. It is designed on a point system and there are many ways to gain and lose points. I'm super excited about this "quest" and super nervous to. My weight has been a strugle for a while now and I'm afraid that if something doesn't change now, it will become a much bigger problem. Please be praying for me during these 12 weeks that I will have courage, commitment, and WILLPOWER!

New job...hopefully!

I need all of you to pray that I get this new job.....

One of the business teachers at the high school is retiring at the end of the semester, in just 3 short weeks. Since I'm a long term sub there now, it'll be sad for her to go, since she was a teacher back when I was in high school, but it's also very exciting for me, since this is where and what I want to teach. They posted the job today, and I think I applied within an hour. They most definitely are on a short timeline, so please pray that this is where I'm supposed to be and that it all works out.

Good news family!!!

I made 2 A's in my history classes. You might be saying why did you take 2 history classes....and here's the answer. I took 2 history classes because I wanted to get a second teaching certification (other than business) just to open up more options. Don't get me wrong, business is where I want to be, but it's not the easiest place to get into. So...I took 2 internet history classes this semester and just found out that I got 2 A's. I had previously gotten 2 D's and 2 not very happy parents at the time, and for the certification I had to raise up those grades! I am very excited to have done so well!!!

See you all soon. I can't wait.
And please, someone else post something. I know we don't have a boring family!
